Installing the Leopard Locks

Our Leopard Locks are simple to install and do not require any modifications to your 51 litre LinQ © cooler.

As with all of our accessories, only use hand tools to install, avoid using cordless or power tools to loosen or tighten screws to avoid damaging either your cooler, or the Leopard Locks.

To install, flip your LinQ © cooler upside down as pictured below.
Locate the 2x Torx © head screws on the underside of the mounting rails, directly above the factory locking tabs.

Remove the two screws indicated by the red arrows above and keep them in a safe place, you will re-use these later.

Open your new Leopard Locks by releasing the lever arm and pivoting the lock open, as pictured below, insert the Leopard Locks into the holes on the underside of the mounting rails, aligning the screw hole on the Leopard Locks with the factory screw holes in the cooler.

Reinstall the factory screws, making sure not to over tighten them.

Use hand tools only!

Your new Leopard Locks are now installed and ready to use!

Install your LinQ © cooler onto your Fishpro, open the lever on your new Leopard Locks, engage the LinQ © locking levers as per normal, then simply close the lever on your new Leopard Locks to secure your locking levers in place, ensuring they will not come loose on your next adventure.
